ANYWAY!

People are often unreasonable,
Illogical and self centred.
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind,
People may accuse
You of selfish motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful,
You will win some false friends,
And some true enemies;
succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank,
People may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend your years building,
Someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness,
They may be jealous;
Be happy happy anyway.

Give the world the best,

What art thou, then my God ?
Most Highest, most Good.
Most Potent,most Omnipotent.
Most merciful,most Just.
Most hidden,yet most present.
Most Beautiful and most Strong.
Standing firm and elusive.
Unchangeable and All changing.
Never New,Never Old.
Ever working , ever at Rest.
Gathering in yet lacking Nothing.
Supporting,Filling and Sheltering,Creating,Nourishing and Maturing;
Seeking and yet having All things.
And What have I now said,My God,My Life and My Holy Joy ?
Or what says any man when he speaks of Thee ?
And woe to Him who keep Silent!.
Since many Babble and say Nothing!.
